There has been a significant amount of work been done to promote the use of evidence-based practices with relevant information to the mental health field. However that is only one piece of the puzzle. The process of transferring knowledge about evidence-based practices and implementing these in our day-to-day work with children, youth, and families is highly complex. The authors believe the study of this process is every bit as important as the study of the evidence-based practices themselves.
